The Parry Sound Active Transportation Committee is a group of volunteer residents that promotes the use of active forms of transportation by residents in the area of West Parry Sound. Active Transportation is defined as any form of human powered transportation used for recreational or utilitarian means. ipalities of McDougall and Seguin, and the Townships of Carling, McKellar, Whitestone, Georgian Bay, and the Archipelago.

Seguin Council has adopted a new long-term strategy to improve trails and active transportation in the Township.

The Active Transportation and Trails Master Plan was presented to Seguin Council on January 10 by the consulting firm WSP in Canada and is the result of over nine months of research, planning, and consultation with the public and staff.
