The Parksville Tutoring Program

The Parksville Tutoring Program The Parksville Tutoring Program is a Community Adult Literacy Program. We match volunteer tutors with adult learners working on English, Math, computers, etc.

The Tutoring Program has one full-time coordinator and approximately 50 volunteer tutors. We are supported by a Work BC office, known as the Career Centre, that has 17 employees. We have a partnership with Vancouver Island University that has been in place since 2001. We receive funding from the government of British Columbia, and CVIJOBS. We are a CALP (Community Adult Literacy Program) that is connected to Decoda Literacy Solutions.
