Hansen's Corner Hall

Hansen's Corner Hall 1424 sq-ft. Hall will accommodate 80 for dining. Has outside BBQ shelter, and fire pit. Rental rate is $250/day. $250 per day damage deposit.

Weekend rate $250 daily with $250 daily damage deposit. Hansen's Corner Hall has been a fixture of the community ever since it was built in 1933. Over the years it has hosting weddings, showers, BBQ's, whist drives and many other events. Sadly it suffered a fire on May 24th 2009 due to arson. It was then rebuilt and is once again serving the needs of the community. Some recent upgrades include a fire pit and a swing set.

Thanks to everyone who came and to Vera for suppling the amazing concrete animals.

We will be hosting a winter theme paint night Friday November 13, more details to come.

We are hosting our first paint night. We will be painting concrete animals of various forms (there will be a choice when arriving at hall). Registration comes with 1 animal, if you would like to do more than 1 let us know.

It is for all ages and levels.

Pre-registration is preferred to guarantee a spot, but we will have a couple extra’s for walk-in’s.

What’s included you say? Pancakes with syrup or a delicious blueberry sauce, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, tea or juice!

$10 for ages 12+ and $5 for ages 5-11.

If a tree falls in the forest, does anyone hear?
Maybe not, but it can sure make for a problem if it falls on your shed!
Strong winds this past weekend wreaked havoc for many in the community but our hall was left with 2 large trees down, and one fell squarely on our storage shed.
But for this community, pitching in and making short work of it, is what it’s all about.
A huge thank you to all who donated time, equipment and labour to work together and not only remove the 2 that fell, but another very tall tree that threatened to do the same.

Big shout out to Jim Sloan, Keith Steffler, Lyle Cruise, Lon Harminder, Brent McDonald, Roy Topping and Larry Niblock. Also Carla McDonald for the use of her trailer.
