Our planet will be here long after we are gone. When you consider climate crisis along with changing weather patterns, increased flooding, raging forest fires these are merely warning signs our planet is sending us.

Take the example of cancer. Society based on our conduct over the last 60 years is the cancer. The extreme weather, heat waves, fires, droughts and floods is the chemotherapy attempting to control or terminate the cancer, us.

We have time, just not a lot. When we reset our patterns and become more connected to ourselves, our community and surroundings the global environment will heal and not try to kick us out for leaving our rent unpaid :-).

Pay your rent in the following actions:

Carpool

Don’t eat red meat

Bring reusable mugs, cups, plates, cutlery, straws when ordering take out

Shop at bulk stores and bring containers

Use a small hand towel over a bath towel to dry after baths or showers

Practise what you have learnt and share with others

Walk shorter distances and don't drive

Buy used and not new

Ban single use plastics

Boycott establishments and businesses that do not adhere to an eco strategy

Pick up garbage in your neighborhood once a week and dispose responsibility

When purchasing new, buy quality and products made from recycled items

Repair appliances and other major purchases instead of discarding them

Invest in bamboo brushes

Use bars of soap rather than plastic pump dispensers
