Local Growers Share their Stories
Are you curious about gardening as a potential side income? This year, our events feature speakers who are all local growers. They will share insights and experiences from running their own small businesses, offering valuable perspectives for anyone interested in turning their passion for plants into extra income.

Open to all Gardeners
Whether you are just getting started or have years of experience, this event welcomes gardeners of all levels. The talks are designed to be informative and inspiring for everyone, from beginners to seasoned growers

Feb 18 meeting is a special Bring a Friend event.No membership is required to attend, everyone is welcome to join, learn and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts. Meeting starts at 7pm at St Andrews United Church, open open at 6:45pm

Are you counting the days until spring to get back in the garden? The Pakenham Hort 2026 Speakers Series will start in Feb….so you can get a jump start of the season. This year our first three meetings will start with a easy flower arranging demo, then onto the main speaker, all local growers in the community

What a Year!! Our members racked up over 800 volunteer hours in 2025! Pretty amazing for a small garden club. In addition to our normal speakers series, three flower shows, community beautification and supporting youth gardening, we celebrated the 💯anniversary of our club. Extra events this year included hosting OHA District 2 Annual General Meeting, a Strawberry Social, the Canada Day and Santa Claus Parades and our Birthday Party in Oct. 🌟

Santa’s team of garden helpers are planning on celebrating 💯years of Horticulture in Pakenham by entering a float in the Santa Claus parade…come see the parade, the amazing float and some giveways of candy and free seed packages for wintersowing.

What a wonderful way to finish the 2025 events for our 💯anniversary year 🎉🌸🎉. we had an awesome turnout of our junior gardeners, their families, and our senior members for our Awards Banquet, Potluck Dinner and Annual Business Meeting. We had a special 💯 cake 🎂. Big thanks to all our volunteers that helped decorate the hall, prepared yummy potluck dishes and helped with the cleanup.
