Ladies sign up for a great ride and cause
🚨 Exciting Announcement for the DB Powersports Ladies Ride for Breast Cancer! 🚨
Ladies, you’ve spoken, and we’ve listened! Many men have been asking to join us on this incredible ride, so we’ve decided to welcome them—with a twist! Our priority is still celebrating the ladies while raising as much as possible for breast cancer patient support, so here’s how it will work:
🎀 Rules for Men to Join:
1️⃣ Bring a Lady: Men can only attend if they bring a female driver or passenger with them.
2️⃣ Helping Hands: Men bringing a female driver will join the “Men’s Group” riding behind us to assist with breakdowns or other issues. The lady they bring will join one of the ladies’ groups to ride with us.
3️⃣ Male Drivers with Female Passengers: These men will ride with the ladies’ groups but cannot lead or anchor (those roles are for our women riders only!).
4️⃣ Donations Required: Both the male and female participants must donate a minimum of $25 each and cover their lunch.
5️⃣ Potential Men's Group: If enough men bring female passengers, we may form a separate group for them—but that depends on interest!
💖 Why This Change?
We’re opening the event to men to encourage more donations and participation while keeping the focus on supporting this important cause. Many women prefer to ride with their husbands or don’t have their own sleds, so this change helps us bring in more funds while still honoring the spirit of a ladies-focused event.
📅 Registration Deadline:
Make sure to register by Friday, January 17, 2025! Donations can be sent after, but we need headcounts by Friday to ensure proper staffing at Walters Falls.
