The Church Of St. Barnabas is presenting an afternoon of soulful music with the London Trio Plus Ensemble on June 27 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT.

The ensemble, featuring sisters Vanessa, Valerie, and Celeste, has spent over 20 years performing harmonic gospel music across Canada and the Caribbean.

Tickets are available for $40 per person or $70 for a couple, and children aged 12 and under are welcome to attend with a "pay what you can" freewill offering. The Zeffy ticketing platform ensures that 100% of your ticket price goes directly toward the parish's mission.

Today is the Third Sunday after Pentecost, and the reading is from Psalm 116: 1-2, 12-13.

I love the Lord, because he has heard the voice of my supplication, because he has inclined his ear to me whenever I called upon him.

How shall I repay the Lord for all the good things he has done for me?

I will lift up the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord.

Today is the Second Sunday after Pentecost, and the reading is from Psalm 33: 4-7.

For the word of the Lord is right, and all his works are sure.

He loves righteousness and justice; the loving kindness of the Lord fills the whole earth.

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, by the breath of his mouth all the heavenly hosts.

He gathers up the waters of the ocean as in a water-skin and stores up the depths of the sea.
