It is time to bring on another volunteer team lead to help run all the behind the scenes of this amazing non profit organization! When I first joined Tiny Hearts Angel Gowns I was working with Rachel and eventually had the chance to take over from her. Although this organization continues to be so near and dear to my heart after my sweet Levi received the most beautiful angel gown 💙, life has gotten busy and my ability to pop up to ottawa at ease is no longer a reality so it is time to bring on someone in the city to help! 🥰
**please note we are not currently taking any wedding dress donations but if you would like to become a volunteer seamstress feel free to reach out as we are always in need of more!***
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable volunteer to join the team and help support our Ottawa-based non-profit organization.
This rewarding role is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and enjoys making a meaningful difference in their community.
Requirements:
~Must live in the Ottawa area.
~Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
~Strong communication and organizational skills.
~Ability to work independently and stay in regular contact with the team.
Responsibilities include:
~Picking up donated wedding dresses and delivering them to our Kanata storage unit or to one of our volunteer seamstresses.
~Picking up completed angel gowns from volunteer seamstresses and delivering them to our Kanata storage unit.
~Delivering bins containing angel gowns, blankets, and other donated items to hospitals throughout the Ottawa area.
~Assisting with various other volunteer tasks as needed.
~Providing regular updates and maintaining communication with the organization regarding pickups, deliveries, and other activities.
This is a flexible volunteer opportunity that has a direct impact on families experiencing the loss of a baby. Your time and commitment will help ensure our handmade angel gowns and comfort items reach the hospitals and families who need them most.
