If God loves us as the Bible says, why do illness, suffering, and evil exist in the world?

Some say God gave us free will and that evil is the result of human choices. Others ask why a loving God would allow diseases, natural disasters, and the suffering of innocent people.

Why does it seem that a woman's love is often tied to a man's success, while a man's love is less dependent on a woman's status?

Many successful women would not consider an unsuccessful man as a partner, yet many successful men are willing to build a life with a woman who has little or nothing. Is this simply nature, social conditioning, or a double standard?
