Kenyan Community in the National Capital Region

Kenyan Community in the National Capital Region We are the Kenya Community in the National Capital region( Ottawa & Gatineau). Join us to for fun activities and community engagement.

The Kenyan Community in the National Capital Region (KE-NCR) is a welcoming nyumbani (home) for Kenyans and friends in Ottawa, Gatineau, and beyond. Since 2013, we’ve built community through connection, culture, and support — powered by volunteers, rooted in umoja (oneness), and uplifted by moyo (heart).

📌 You can also find us in the 254 InfoHub WhatsApp Community — a dedicated space for key updates and important announcements for Kenyans in the National Capital Region. Once in the community, you're welcome to connect with your local mtaa (neighbourhood) community. The 254 InfoHub is more structured — a place where you won’t miss important info!
