The Student Philanthropy Council (Council) is a new student-driven entity that strives to foster a culture of philanthropy within the Carleton campus community. The Council provides student leaders with the opportunity to develop philanthropic skill sets with development professionals and positively affect change at their alma mater. The Council is advised by the Department of University Advanceme

nt (DUA), and the student-led works to identify, develop, and pursue the achievement of short-term campus projects that improve teaching, learning, and the broader student experience at Carleton. The Council also offers skill development opportunities for campus-based philanthropic organizations. The Council, which is governed by the Executive, is comprised of student leaders who passionately endeavor to support Carleton.
