Tekné Cycle Club

Tekné Cycle Club Tekné Cycle Club is an Ottawa-based not-for-profit competitive cycling club. Tekné: an ancient concept no less relevant today than two thousand years ago.

Greek for what we might today call 'craft,' tekné aka 'techne' is typically contrasted against poeisis (art) and theoria (theory). In a sense, tekné blends aspects from both art and theory into embodied practice.
