🗣️ Language Applications and Policies Released 🗣️

We are excited to have recently released our Language Policy and the Language Appeals Policy & Framework.

These are both available at the link in our bio.

Language Status Applications are integrated into the Individual Registration Form and must be completed at the same time. Language Applications and Individual Registration are due 22 October 2026, 23:59 (GMT-4).

If you do not submit on time, your application will not be assessed, and you will not be granted ESL or EFL status.

🛏️ Room Upgrades 🛏️

We have a limited number of Room Upgrades available to purchase as part of Individual Registration.

You need to hurry though - once they are sold, they are gone! We have already sold out of Single Rooms.

Upgrading to a double room costs $350 CAD (~$246 USD. All payments must be in CAD).

Both people in the room must register, select the upgrade, list each other as roommates and pay before your room upgrade is locked in.

Room upgrades can be purchased when completing Individual Registration. The link to Individual Registration has been sent to all Institutional Reps and Independent Adjudicators. If you haven't received the link, please contact [email protected] ASAP.

All rooms will otherwise be quad share.

Individual Registration closes on 22 October. Upgrades will close as soon as they are sold out.

🚨 Individual Registration is Open Now! 🚨

We are excited to announce that Individual Registration is Open Now!

The link has been emailed to all Institutional Reps and Independent Adjudicators. Please check your emails, including spam and junk folders etc.

All participants must complete the form by 22 October. This includes completing all sections within the form.

We're getting closer everyone! Hope you're as excited as we are!

🗓️ October Adj Core Update 🗓️

Our Adj Core has got a busy month coming up of motion testing, working with all the various different WUDC teams, and continuing to judge at tournaments around the world. The tournament is getting closer, and we're excited to see you all soon!

📆 Three Months till WUDC 📆

We are less than three months away from the start of Ottawa WUDC 2027!

If you require a visa and have not applied yet, we strongly advise you to start the application process ASAP. To help people with their application, we've pulled together a list of common mistakes that we are seeing.

⌚ Waitlist Update⌚

We are releasing a public waitlist of institutions who want to buy slots and who want to sell slots for Ottawa WUDC 2027!

This is designed to make it easier for institutions who want to sell slots to connect with those want to buy slots, and for institutions to notify us of any completed sales.

You should use the form to indicate you would like to buy slots, that you would like to sell sots, and/or to notify us of a completed transaction.

Key Rules:
1. You cannot sell slots for a higher price than what you bought them
2. You must sell slots to institutions in the waitlist order
3. Both the buying and selling institution must complete the form to notify us of a completed sale
4. Ottawa WUDC 2027 accepts no liability, and will not help mediate, resolve or otherwise involve itself, in any transactions between institutions. We are merely setting this up to allow institutions to more easily connect with each other.

📆 September Adj Core Update 📆

As WUDC draws nearer the work keeps growing! Our Adjudication Core has appointed the Academic Teams and begun working with them to get ready for Ottawa. They're still deep into motion testing, prepping individual registration and judging at comps!
