🚐🎉 A NEW CHAPTER FOR UNITARIAN HOUSE! 🎉🚐

After 2–3 years of planning, fundraising, and dedication, our BRAND NEW VAN has officially arrived!

Today, we celebrated an incredible milestone at Unitarian House of Ottawa with the launch of our beautiful, fully equipped new van!

This is so much more than just a new vehicle. It represents years of hard work, generosity, teamwork, and the incredible community spirit that makes Unitarian House so special.
Through countless fundraising efforts, clothing and jewellery sales, the Tuck Shop, Happy Hour contributions, 50/50 draws, and generous donations from residents, our Residents' Association helped turn this dream into a reality.

A heartfelt thank you to our Residents' Association, our dedicated volunteers, and every resident who contributed, whether through donations, purchases, fundraising, or simply lending a helping hand.

We would also like to recognize Sandra Whicker, Brian Castledine, and Danny Brisebois for their dedication throughout this journey, along with everyone who helped make this possible.

We would also like to extend a HUGE thank you to Star Motors for helping make this dream a reality! Your support, assistance, and efforts in helping us bring our new van home mean so much to our residents and our entire community. Thank you for being part of such an exciting milestone!

Here's to new adventures, exciting outings, wonderful memories, and many more miles together!

From shopping trips and scenic drives to community outings and special adventures, this van will help our residents continue exploring, connecting, and making memories for years to come!

We couldn't be more excited to see where the road takes us next!

For many people, Unitarian House is personal. It may be where a parent, grandparent, friend or neighbour found friendship, independence and a place to feel at home.

For others, it’s simply a community they believe in, a place where seniors are supported, valued and connected. Comment below, what UHO means to you.

Today, we’re bringing our community together at UHO to take steps for seniors and show what happens when Ottawa comes together for a cause that matters.

Thank you to our generous The Grand Parade Sponsors for supporting this year's event, and to Equator Coffee Roasters and COBS Bread for providing complimentary coffee and scones for our coffee and light breakfast stations!

Through the support of our sponsors, participants, teams and community, we have already raised over $44,700 of our $50,000 goal and we're not even at event day yet!
