We are excited to welcome the Canadian Galvanizing Institute CGI IGC as a new Corporate Partner of the RAIC! 💙
The Canadian Galvanizing Institute (CGI-IGC) was created as a national, industry-driven initiative to strengthen Canada’s ability to design, build, and protect infrastructure through durable corrosion protection solutions. The Institute brings together stakeholders from across the infrastructure supply chain, including engineers, architects, fabricators, manufacturers, contractors, researchers, and public infrastructure owners. Its mandate is to advance technical knowledge, support lifecycle-based decision making, and contribute to the modernization and harmonization of Canadian standards, specifications, and best practices related to corrosion protection and long-term infrastructure performance.

L’Institut de galvanisation du Canada (IGC-CGI) a été créé comme une initiative nationale dirigée par l’industrie afin de renforcer la capacité du Canada à concevoir, construire et protéger ses infrastructures grâce à des solutions durables de protection contre la corrosion. L’Institut rassemble des intervenants provenant de l’ensemble de la chaîne d’approvisionnement des infrastructures, notamment des ingénieurs, architectes, fabricants, manufacturiers, entrepreneurs, chercheurs et propriétaires d’infrastructures publiques. Son mandat consiste à faire progresser les connaissances techniques, à soutenir une prise de décision fondée sur le cycle de vie et à contribuer à la modernisation ainsi qu’à l’harmonisation des normes, devis et meilleures pratiques canadiennes liés à la protection contre la corrosion et à la performance à long terme des infrastructures.
