Power of the Arts National Forum

Power of the Arts National Forum On Sept. 27, 2013, join us in Ottawa for a three-day action-packed conference on igniting social change through the arts across Canada.

Co-hosted by the Michaelle Jean Foundation and Carleton University. Slated for September 27 to 29, 2013 in Ottawa, the Power of the Arts National Forum: Advancing Social Innovation for a Better Canada, will mobilize researchers, legal experts, policymakers, health practitioners, business leaders, artists, youth and many others. They will discuss ways for sectors as varied as health, business, the

law and the arts can work together to tackle youth crime, mental health, unemployment, immigrants and refugees and indigenous opportunities, through the arts. As an outcome, participants will contribute to the production of a national agenda outlining ways in which key sectors of Canadian society can collaboratively enhance social inclusion, social cohesion, personal development and prosperity for all Canadians.
