Our Running Race + Community Picnic brought families, neighbours, children, and youth together for a day filled with movement, joy, and community spirit.
A special thank you to M2M Minis for coaching our neighbourhood children and helping them build confidence, discipline, and excitement for running. We are so grateful for your support in creating healthy and fun opportunities for our community.

As we get to the end of National AccessAbility Week, we’re highlighting a barrier that often goes unseen: getting to the food bank.

For many people living with disabilities, chronic illness, mobility challenges, going through or recovering from medical treatment, accessing emergency food isn’t as simple as getting in a car and driving to a food bank. Transportation barriers can turn someone’s need for emergency food into something that is completely out of reach.

That’s why Feed The City exists.

Working alongside food banks and community agencies across Ottawa, our volunteers deliver emergency food directly to the homes of people who cannot physically access food bank services on their own.

Accessibility isn’t just about ramps and automatic doors. It’s also about creating communities where everyone can access the supports they need, regardless of their circumstances.

We celebrate and thank the volunteers, food bank partners, and community supporters helping make Ottawa more accessible, one delivery at a time. 💙📦

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual General Meeting.
Our AGM was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate our collective impact, and recognize the dedication of our staff, volunteers, board members, partners, and community members who make this work possible.
Together, we continue to build a stronger, more connected, and more supportive community.
Thank you for being part of our journey, we look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and community impact.

Collaboration is the foundation of meaningful change. We came together with a shared intention, and that's to support one another while creating solutions to strengthen food banking supports in the South-East Ottawa. It’s inspiring to see such a dedicated group of caring individuals working side by side for a better tomorrow, ensuring that those in need have access to the food and support they need. Together, we are building a stronger, more food-secure community. ❤️🥫🌱
