Fall Fest was one to remember. 🍂
There are so many people who helped make the day special, and we truly could not have done it without our dedicated volunteers and the incredible Firehall staff team. From setting up in the morning to keeping things running throughout the afternoon, so many people gave their time and energy to make the event a success.
We were also thrilled to be part of the Ottawa 200 celebrations this year and to welcome so many community organizations and City of Ottawa representatives to our information tables. It was wonderful to see them connecting with residents, sharing valuable information and handing out plenty of swag.
Teaming up with EnviroCrew and their Big Collection Day was another great addition to Fall Fest. It gave residents a chance to reuse and recycle while enjoying an action packed afternoon in the park.
There was plenty to keep the kids busy, too! Mathnasium from the Glebe brought along some great activities and a balloon artist, while Red Gate Arena Farm’s horse drawn wagon rides through Windsor Park were a huge hit. The giant inflatable obstacle courses from RyJ’s were also a favourite and kept plenty of our younger visitors moving and having fun.
The Sunnyside Branch of the Ottawa Public Library joined us with an engaging storytime for our littlest visitors, while also sharing information about upcoming library programs and encouraging the community to get involved.
And, of course, the food and refreshments were a highlight! With delicious options from Lucy’s Fries, Krazy Lemon Lemonade and Black Belt Beignets, we think we had some of our best Fall Fest eats yet!
The stage was set and ready for live music from local Ottawa cover band Another Round. Cody Party Rentals made setup a breeze by delivering the stage, tables and chairs ahead of the event, giving our team one less thing to worry about on event day.
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated, partnered with us, visited a booth, enjoyed the activities, grabbed some food or simply came out to spend the afternoon with us.
Thank you for making Fall Fest 2026 one for the books! We can’t wait to do it all again. ❤️
