B**B was founded in 2013 when I realized after having my second child that there was a need for raising awareness around public breastfeeding. Many moms in the Ottawa area felt like they needed to cover up or go into a private place to breastfeed because they were afraid that they would be judged or criticized for feeding their child in a public place. The first ever B**B event was hosted on Augus

t 23, 2013 and welcomed 70 moms to celebrate public breastfeeding at Major's Hill Park. Since then we have evolved into a network of moms who want to spread awareness not only in the Ottawa community but all of Ontario. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects your right as a mother to breastfeed your baby ANYWHERE, ANYTIME. Helps us bring normalcy back to breastfeeding!!
