With the support of Clover Canada, Navy League Branches across the country will be able to make fundraising easier, more convenient, and more accessible!

Through this partnership, Branches will have access to Clover payment devices, making it easier to accept electronic payments at fundraising events, community activities, and other initiatives that support our programs.

By making it easier for supporters to contribute, we’re helping our volunteer-led Branches focus on what matters most: creating opportunities for young Canadians through the Navy League Cadet Program and supporting the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Program.

Our campaign is powered by volunteers—and every contribution matters.

Legion members: Please consider volunteering. Whether you can fill a short shift, deliver or collect Poppy boxes, or help at a campaign location, your time will make a meaningful difference. Contact your branch to learn more https://legion.ca/contact-us/find-a-branch

As the Navy League of Canada marked the 25th Anniversary of Navy and Coast Guard Appreciation Day on Parliament Hill, we also took a moment to recognize the devastating fire at CFB Wainwright and the profound impact this unimaginable tragedy has had on its community.

Our thoughts remain with everyone affected, including the families who are grieving, those who have been impacted, and the first responders and medical professionals who continue to provide care and support during this incredibly difficult time.

In the spirit of compassion, community, and service that defines our organization, the Navy League of Canada is launching a special initiative to support those affected by this tragedy.

Funds raised through this initiative will be directed to CFB Wainwright to help support affected families and the broader community as they navigate the difficult days ahead.

In times of unimaginable loss, the strength of a community is reflected in how we come together to support one another. We invite our members, supporters, and Canadians from coast to coast to join us in demonstrating that support.

The Navy League of Canada celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Navy and Coast Guard Appreciation Day on Parliament Hill, marking a quarter-century of recognizing the exceptional individuals who serve our country through the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG).

This year’s theme, One Purpose. One Team. One Future., reflects the shared commitment, collaboration, and vision that unite Canada's maritime community.

This milestone year honoured 12 Exceptional Sailors for their outstanding service, dedication, and contributions to Canada. Each individual represents the very best of our country, and their diverse achievements reinforce the vital role our national maritime institutions play in protecting our waters, supporting our communities, and advancing Canada's maritime interests.

With the outstanding support of Ontario Shipyards, we were also proud to recognize the 2026 Laureate of the Vice-Admiral Peter Cairns Leadership Award, Captain(N) Martin Byrne. A Canadian innovator and trailblazer in the shipbuilding industry, Captain(N) Byrne has made an inspiring contribution to Canada, the Canadian marine sector, and the shipbuilding industry. His leadership and achievements exemplify the innovation, vision, and dedication that help shape Canada's maritime future.

The Navy League of Canada extends its sincere gratitude to Senators Patterson, Henkel, Ince, and Quinn for their support in making this special recognition ceremony in the Senate of Canada possible. We also extend our thanks to Rear-Admiral P. Belhumeur and Deputy Commissioner M. Mes for their leadership, participation, and valuable contributions throughout the day, helping make this milestone celebration a success.

The celebrations concluded with an evening reception that brought together more than 180 representatives from across Canada's maritime industry, the Royal Canadian Navy, and the Canadian Coast Guard; an opportunity to strengthen relationships, celebrate shared commitments, and recognize the people who contribute so much to Canada's maritime community.

Congratulations to our 12 Exceptional Sailors and Captain(N) Martin Byrne, and thank you to everyone who serves, leads, innovates, and supports Canada's maritime community!

One Purpose. One Team. One Future.
