We would like to thank everyone who came out to audition for The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, as well as those in our community who helped get the word out. Each and every person who auditioned is incredibly talented and would have done a phenomenal job, alas there are only so many parts. Thank you to those who came out to our auditions on Saturday! We have one more opportunity to audition for The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley this Tuesday, June 9th at 6:30 pm at Manotick Place Retirement Home. We are still very much in need of young men 18 to 35. If you or someone you know is interested please have them reach out asap.

We are one week away from auditions for The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon. You may be wondering why would I want to be in THIS play? Lauren Gunderson is one of the most produced playwrights in America and her work is extremely well respected because it is so brilliantly written. What that means as an actor, is that you will have the opportunity to really stretch and work with some incredible material in a play that the audience is sure to love. We are also blessed to have an incredibly director in Wendy Wagner, who is very well versed in Gunderson's work and will bring out the best in her cast. AUDITIONS!!!! We are thrilled to announce the auditions for our Fall Production The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, Directed by Wendy Wagner and assisted by Jorie Basque. This is a wonderfully well written play and we are looking for 3 young women aged 20 to 35, 3 young men aged 20 to 35 and one woman in her late 50's or early 60's. While these are 'stage ages' we will not be casting widely outside of these ranges, we would not want to waste anyone's time. ITR Theatre would like to congratulate our Bursary award winner for 2026 - Elias Roy. Elias has been a volunteer with ITR several times having helped with Front of House, Props and even managing Hair and Makeup for our production of The Real Sherlock Holmes. Elias plans to study special effects makeup at Glow college. We were blessed to have several excellent applicants this year, and our runner up for the bursary sent such a compelling application that an anonymous donor has stepped up to support providing a second bursary. So we would also like to congratulate Kyle MacPherson. Kyle is attending Algonquin College in the fall in the Drawing Foundations for Animation and Illustration program. Wishing you both much success in your future endeavours.

A heartfelt congratulations and thank you to the cast and crew of Renovations for Six for putting on such a fabulous production for our audiences! It is easy to forget that the people involved in community theatre have day jobs, families and lives that they have to balance with the passion and commitment for theatre. To everyone who supported someone you love to participate in this production, we thank you! To the sponsors and patrons who support what we do, we thank you!!!
