Considering signing up for ITR Theatre's Monologue workshop? You may want to know a little more about our facilitator. We are honoured to have Geoffrey Coulter coming to Manotick especially for this event. Geoffrey is an award-winning actor, director, singer, arts educator and adjudicator. He has performed and directed in Canada and the US for over four decades and has been the artistic director of many youth theatre programs. This one day workshop is being held at the St. James Church in Manotick on Saturday, September 19th from 9 am to 4 pm. The cost is $85 and lunch will be provided. ITR is pleased to announce our Annual General Meeting which will take place on Sunday, September 20th from 1 pm to 3 pm at Manotick Place Retirement Home. The AGM is open to anyone who would like to hear about what ITR has accomplished in the prior year, and what we have coming up for 2027. We will also be announcing our 2028 plays so that we can kick off the process of finding Producers and Directors. We hope to see you there!

Have you signed up yet for ITR's Monologue Workshop on Saturday, Sept. 19th? We are honoured to have Geoffrey Coulter leading this full day workshop. Geoff has performed and directed in Canada and the U.S. for over four decades. He has served as an adjudicator for regional play festivals. He has been the artistic director of many youth theatre programs/productions with the hope of inspiring the next generation of artists. Geoff has appeared in theatre, commercials, TV series and feature films, and his voice can be heard narrating documentaries, video games and educational programs. When he’s not in a theatre or recording studio, he’s teaching TV performance at the community college level. Cost of the Workshop is $85 which includes lunch.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to audition for The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, as well as those in our community who helped get the word out. Each and every person who auditioned is incredibly talented and would have done a phenomenal job, alas there are only so many parts. Congratulations to our cast, we look forward to bringing this production to life with you ❤. Watch for ticket to go on sale in early October!

Thank you to those who came out to our auditions on Saturday! We have one more opportunity to audition for The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley this Tuesday, June 9th at 6:30 pm at Manotick Place Retirement Home. We are still very much in need of young men 18 to 35. If you or someone you know is interested please have them reach out asap.

We are one week away from auditions for The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon. You may be wondering why would I want to be in THIS play? Lauren Gunderson is one of the most produced playwrights in America and her work is extremely well respected because it is so brilliantly written. What that means as an actor, is that you will have the opportunity to really stretch and work with some incredible material in a play that the audience is sure to love. We are also blessed to have an incredibly director in Wendy Wagner, who is very well versed in Gunderson's work and will bring out the best in her cast.
