Our 2026 Filò Gala Fundraising season has come to an a very successful end! Last week we took a moment to present our donation cheques to our 2 deserving charities this year: Villa Marconi Long Term Care Centre & Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa.

Our 23rd Annual Filò Gala provided us with multiple fundraising options allowing us to make these donations. Through ticket sales, silent auction sales, 50/50 raffle sales & our Filò Fizz signature drink sales, we were able to present 2 cheques of $5500 to each charity.

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all of the fabulous ladies that attended the Gala this year and to all our loyal sponsors that allow us to pay it forward. We are not a corporate Gala. We do not have large corporations offering us large sums of money. We are a tiny little committee of hard working, dedicated and strong resilient women with a strong community of local loyal businesses behind us, that continue to support our vision and our goal to recognize our women, share our strengths and celebrate our culture with all the generations to come.

As the Ottawa Italian Women's Filò Committee, we were extremely grateful to be able to visit both charities and see what good things will come of your generous donations from this year's Gala. We were honoured to represent you all in doing so.

DRUM ROLLLLL ..... we have exciting news !!
We are pleased to announce that our 23rd Annual Filò Gala Fundraiser has broken yet another fundraising record raising funds for Habitat For Humanity Greater Ottawa & for Villa Marconi Long Term Care Centre.
Thank you to our many sponsors for your continued support, and to all the fabulous ladies that came out, enjoyed their night, and contributed with additional raffle sales, live and silent auctions.
We even had some direct donations to the charities themselves with the use of the QR Codes linking to their donation pages.
