H365 Adult Development Club: Practice & Play! 🏒

Aug 14th Photos!

We had so much fun coaching these players for 25 mins while doing drills, then watching everyone practice what they just learned in a game to finish off the session!

Looking forward to working with you all again soon, some tonight!

Adult Development Club: Practice & Play: Aug 21st, 8:00pm Jim Durrell- Goalie spots are filled, we still have players spots open!

All Sunday sessions are at Carleton Ice House

We have a special guest, Patricia Denis a local children's author coming out from 9:00-1:30, come stop by and check out her book: But I'm Not Ready

We still have some open spots for U7 Sharpen & Showcase and Player Power Skating Academy!

U9, 11, 13/15 Sharpen & Showcase, Puck Proof Academy, Goalie Power Skating Academy are currently full, but you can still opt in for the waitlist and you'll be notified if a spot opens up!

In a short period of time the Adult Development Club has become an important piece of our mission! 🏒

To keep hockey fun and affordable for all, that means not just for kids!

Many adults haven’t had the chance to play hockey when they were kids, or they did, but when life got serious as they got older, the first thing they dropped was the sport they loved, and we get to bring back that joy or create that space for those that get to experience their childhood dreams as an adult!

If you’re interested in coming out to one or all of our upcoming sessions, we have ice every Friday around 8pm!

We have some exciting news! 🎉

We have a special guest coming out to our last weekend of summer clinics 👀

We will have a Meet & Greet area set up beside Sam at the registration table for a local children's author: Patricia Denis!

Patricia will be there throughout the duration of the clinics this weekend (9:00am-1:30pm)

About the Author

Patricia Denis is an educator, advocate, and program leader with over a decade of experience mentoring youth and supporting families in the justice and community service sectors. With a strong foundation in program development and trauma-informed care, she is passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing spaces for growth and healing. This book marks Patricia's debut as a children's author, inspired by the deeply personal and transformative experience of parenting a child with selective mutism. Patricia has two young daughters and is Matt's wife (some of you may have seen Matt on the ice coaching the kids)

💥Player Spotlight💥

Congratulations to Tom & Alex who were the two players chosen as MVPs for the Adult Development Club: Practice & Play on Friday!

Tom was chosen for his team support, it stood out that he was always looking for a passing option, he also back checked really hard (anyone who has played beer league knows how rare this is, which says a lot about Tom 😂)!

Alex was chosen for his great attitude to improve, he was locked in, carried the puck with confidence, and our coaches loved the fact that he’s the first person in his family to learn how to play hockey which shows a lot about his willingness to grow and learn as an adult!

These two players demonstrated exactly what the Adult Development Club is all about!

Thank you to Coaches Ben & Ryan for each picking an MVP!

On behalf of H365 Team we wanted to congratulate Annie & Alex who were our VERY first Adult Development Club members to be chosen for the MVPs in our Practice & Play last Friday! 💥

Annie was chosen for team dark & Alex was chosen for team light !

Both of these players were all smiles the whole session, even during the "working" portion 😉

Their attitude and effort stood out and we loved the fun, welcoming energy they brought to the ice !
