280 neighbours came together to help The Spaniel’s Tale move 7,422 books to their new home in just 150 minutes!

Book by book, hand to hand, this community made something huge happen for this AMAZING Wellington West BIA bookstore.

If you spotted SPACEMAN walking cruising on the Thursty Pedaler | Ottawa’s Party Bike through Wellington West during TASTE, you were seeing the work of local Hintonburg artist Petr Maur 🚀

Petr transforms everyday public spaces into unexpected experiences through his signature “spacewalks,” blending performance, choreography, and sculpture to make you stop and see familiar places a little differently.

And Spaceman doesn’t just walk! Petr also created an incredible 360° shuttle experience that puts you right inside the journey.

TASTE may be winding down but AFTER TASTE is just getting started! 🌙✨

Keep the fun going throughout Wellington West from 6–10 PM with patio parties, live music, food, drinks and evening experiences at participating restaurants, bars and pubs.

Then, beginning at 7:15 PM, the travelling block party hits the street! Two illuminated Thursty Pedaler | Ottawa’s Party Bike bikes carrying a live DJ and glowing performers will make their way through Wellington West, stopping near participating patios along the route.

Choose a patio, grab some dinner or drinks and wait for the party to come to you!
