🎲 ROLL THE DICE… AND DOUBLE YOUR FUN! 🐾.
📍 Now playing at PetSmart Barrhaven! 🚙

Dice & Yuki are a four-month-old sibling duo ready to play their way into your heart! 🖤

Dice is a tiny black shorthaired girl with big energy, endless curiosity, and a talent for asking for attention with her adorable little meows. She loves exploring, playing, and snuggling up with her favourite humans.

Yuki is a handsome black longhaired boy who’s all about affection! This social sweetheart loves being held, enjoys human company, and has recently started giving the sweetest little nose kisses. 💋

Both kittens are super friendly, affectionate, and always ready for fun. They even enjoyed hanging out in their kitty tent! They sometimes prefer kibble over wet food, but when it comes to playtime and cuddles, they’re always ready to roll! 🎲

The winning combination? Adopt Dice and Yuki together, or make sure your new kitten has a playful feline friend at home. These social butterflies need a kitty companion to keep the games going!

Both are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find their forever homes.

🎲 Don’t leave your happiness to chance — these two are a pair of winners! 🖤. Apply to adopt at https://biscuitsandpurrscr.com/ready-to-adopt/

It is always surprising when a cat as balanced and loving as Hattie continues to be overlooked.

Hattie is that perfect, rare sweet spot of a kitten. She has plenty of playful energy, but she also truly understands the value of settling down for a long snuggle. She loves wrestling with other cats and chasing toys around the room, but when she’s ready for affection, she’ll reach right up to ask to be held. Once she’s in your arms, she completely relaxes and melts right into your chest.

She has a wonderfully easygoing, gentle confidence. She doesn't need to be the main character in every room, but she’s quietly content just being wherever you are. Getting pictures of her can actually be a challenge because the second you sit down near her, she’d much rather climb into your lap than pose for a camera.

If you are looking for a companion who brings all the fun of a kitten along with a calm, deeply affectionate nature, Hattie is more than ready to go home.

🐾💕 Destiny — A Sweet Mama Ready for Her Happily Ever After! 💕
After surviving a devastating fire in March and having lovingly raising her four beautiful kittens — Dasha, Diamond, Dustin, and Dixon — it's finally Destiny's turn to be loved and spoiled! ❤️
This petite sweetheart is now ready to start a new chapter where she can simply enjoy being someone's cherished companion.
Destiny may be a little shy when you first meet her, but don't let that fool you. Behind that cautious exterior is a gentle girl with so much love to give. With a little patience and kindness, she'll begin to feel comfortable and show you her sweet personality. She enjoys gentle chin scratches and the occasional bum pat, although she'd much rather keep all four paws firmly on the ground than be picked up! 😹
☀️ Her idea of a perfect day? Lounging by a sunny window, watching the world go by, or curling up in her favourite cat tunnel for some quiet time. She's a simple girl who appreciates life's little comforts.
🏡 Destiny's dream home is a calm, loving place with someone who understands that trust takes time. She doesn't need constant attention or someone to fuss over her — just a patient person who will give her the space to settle in and feel safe.
After everything Destiny has been through, she deserves a home where she can finally relax, feel secure, and know she's loved.
❤️ Could you be the happy ending Destiny has been waiting for?
🐾 Apply to adopt Destiny and give this deserving mama the fresh start she's earned! https://biscuitsandpurrscr.com/ready-to-adopt/ or visit our website to see other cats waiting for their furever home: https://biscuitsandpurrscr.com/adoptable-cats/ 💕

Sophia: A Little Heart Full of Love! 💕
🐾 Female (Spayed)🎂 DOB: August 2024

Sophia is ready to find what every young cat deserves: a family to call her own, a cozy spot to nap, and people who will love her as much as she'll love them. 💗

This sweet tabby girl was rescued just in time when caring volunteers stepped in to give her a second chance. Now, she's safe, thriving, and ready to start her next chapter with a forever family.

Sophia is the total package: affectionate, confident, gentle, and full of love. She settles in easily and enjoys being part of whatever her humans are doing. Whether she's lounging nearby, following you through the house, or supervising daily activities, Sophia simply wants to be where the people are.

And when it comes to mealtime, Sophia has one important rule: cuddles come first! 🥹💕

She loves attention and isn't shy about asking for affection before heading to her food bowl.
She's also a tidy girl with excellent litter box habits. A high-sided litter box would be ideal for this enthusiastic little digger who takes her burying responsibilities very seriously. 😹

Sophia would do well in many different types of homes, whether quiet or busy, as long as there's plenty of love and attention to go around.

It's hard to believe this sweet soul was ever overlooked. All Sophia wants is a warm home, a soft place to rest, and a family who will choose her forever.

💕 Could Sophia be the one you've been waiting for?

If you'd like to welcome this loving little tabby into your family, please fill out our adoption application form and give Sophia the happily-ever-after she deserves. 🏡🐾

🐾 🐾ADOPTION UPDATES! 💕🏡

It’s time for an update on some of the lucky cats who have found their forever homes! ❤️

🐱 Remember Jagger, the Scottish Fold who came to us as an owner surrender?
Now known as Louie, this handsome boy is doing wonderfully!
💗 His adopter shares:
“He’s doing amazing and is the sweetest boy! He loves all the cuddles and pets, and lounging on the couch in the sunshine, watching everything going on outside. He’s the best, and we’re so happy he’s part of our family!”

🐾 Next up is Bubbles, now named Mimi, enjoying life with her canine brother and best friend! 🩷
We love seeing Mimi enjoying the companionship and love she deserves. There’s nothing quite like a happily ever after with a best friend by your side! 💕

🧡 And lastly, sweet Simba, our orange-and-white boy!
His adopter describes him as the most wonderful companion: gentle, loving, and always ready for morning cuddles at 6 a.m.! He even provided a little surprise by spitting out a baby tooth recently. 😂 His vet confirmed it was perfectly normal!
Simba keeps his family entertained, stays close to his Mommy like a sweet little shadow, and bravely supervises her adventures. His family is incredibly grateful for their precious boy, who has become such a treasured part of their lives. ❤️

These updates remind us why rescue work is so rewarding. Every cat deserves a safe, loving home where they are cherished for life. Please send your adopter update to [email protected]

Louie, Mimi, and Simba - May your days be filled with sunshine, cuddles, and endless love. 🐾💗

Thank you to their wonderful adopters for giving these special kitties the forever homes they deserve!

Two inseparable best friends looking for their forever home!

🧡 Checkers is a handsome orange-and-white kitten with a personality as colourful as his coat! He's energetic, mischievous, and always ready for an adventure. But once playtime is over, this playful little boy transforms into the sweetest cuddle bug who loves being close to his humans!

🖤 Princess is an adorable tuxedo kitten with a strong-willed spirit and an enormous heart! She was born with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a painless neurological condition that affects her balance and coordination. But being a little wobbly doesn't stop her from enjoying her favourite toys, exploring her surroundings, or snuggling with her humans!

These two share an incredibly special bond! Checkers treats Princess just like any other playmate, pouncing, wrestling, and stealing her toys. And Princess happily gives it right back! His adventurous spirit encourages her to be more active and confident, helping her thrive despite her mobility challenges.

While Checkers could likely adapt on his own, Princess truly needs her best friend by her side. Their friendship brings out the very best in both of them, and we're determined to keep these two together!

Both kittens are fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered and ready to find their forever home together!

Could you be the family to give these two sweethearts a lifetime of love, adventures, and cuddles?

💛 THANKFULNESS 🐾

Today feels like the perfect day to begin something special: a weekly series called Thankfulness.

Rescue work is not for the faint of heart. But woven through the difficult days is something extraordinary: the kindness of people who make it possible for us to keep going.

Behind every cat saved, every frightened soul given a safe place to land, and every happy ending, there are countless people who have given something of themselves.

Our PetSmart volunteers, foster families, donors, drivers, Directors, fundraising team, social media team, and so many others who quietly show up, lend a hand, and remind us that we are not alone.

Each week, we’ll begin to shine a light on these incredible teams and departments, within our rescue, sharing the work they do and the difference they make. Because rescue is never the work of one person. It is a collective act of love, compassion, and unwavering commitment to lives that depend on us.

We have a million reasons to be thankful. For every life changed, every hand extended, every kindness offered, and every person who believes that even the smallest life is worth saving.

Today, we invite you to pause with us. To look beyond the challenges and recognize the good that surrounds us.

Because even in the hardest moments, there is always something worth being grateful for.

💛 What are you thankful for today?
