👨🏻‍🌾Build Day: Hügelkultur community garden!👨🏻‍🌾

This Saturday, September 28th from 9am to 3pm come to DCA Sweet Willow Community Garden, 31 Rochester Street for a day of garden building!

🌱The organizer, Sweet Willow Community Garden, asks for all hands on deck! Everyone is welcome!
Don’t miss out on being part of Ottawa’s first Hügelkultur community garden!

🌱 They have a plan to assemble 24 galvanized steel raised garden beds (6ft x 3ft), and fill each bed with organic materials (logs, branches, compost and soil) following the traditional and sustainable practice of hügelkultur.

🌱 You only need to bring work/garden gloves, water bottle, screwdriver, spade, shovel, or rake .... and your curiosity and sense of fun!

🍕They will serve pizza for lunch at 12:30!
