Our Story

This network was created from the past experience of the former organization called Capacity Building Exchange Network (CBEN). CBEN has accomplished several work to help Somalia's rural villages to provide clean drinking water supply and medicine for small hospitals located in remote rural areas. CBEN was in partnership with Somali community in Ottawa and Health Partner International of Canada (HPIC). HIPC very professional and unique organization. CBEN activities has been ceased in 2014 because of lack of financial support, although there were increasing number of request forwarded to us by Somalia civil society and local NGOs. For this reason we decided to come up organize something similar as for the previous activities undertaken by CBEN with little modifications.
