Esenlikler students, Turkish community, and friends!
We would like to cordially invite you to celebrate the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day of Türkiye, which marks the beginning of the Turkish Independence War.
On this day, we commemorate Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms’ efforts while celebrating the day bestowed upon the youth through poetry, food, and, sports.
We will be celebrating this day at Strathcona Park through a potluck picnic, and sports to foster a joyous environment.
We cannot wait to see all friends, and diverse cuisine to be discovered!!!

🇨🇦 One of the important turning points in world history in which the Turkish nation played a total role is the Çanakkale Victory. It is the struggle of high-spirited perseverance, an example to historical ages, with heroism and sacrifice, under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Commander-in-Chief of the Great Turkish Nation, in which the first torch of our Turkish War of Independence was ignited.

Once again, we commemorate with mercy and gratitude all our martyrs who fought this struggle together with the Turkish nation, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK and his comrades, along with the heroic Turkish Army and all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their homeland.


🇫🇷 L'un des tournants importants de l'histoire mondiale dans lequel la nation turque a joué un rôle important, est la Victoire de Çanakkale. C'est une lutte de persévérance , un exemple pour les âges historiques, avec héroïsme et sacrifice, sous la direction de Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, le Commandant en Chef de la Grande Nation Turque, où le premier flambeau de notre Guerre d'Indépendance Turque a été allumé.

Encore une fois, nous commémorons avec gratitude tous nos martyrs qui ont combattu cette lutte aux côtés de la nation turque, en particulier Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK et ses camarades, ainsi que l'héroïque Armée Turque et tous nos martyrs qui ont sacrifié leur vie pour leur patrie.
