Federation of Canadian Municipalities The Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) has been the national voice of municipal government since 1901.

With more than 2,000 members, FCM represents the interests of municipalities on policy and program matters that fall within federal jurisdiction. Members include Canada's largest cities, small urban and rural communities, and 20 provincial and territorial municipal associations. Today, FCM and the Government of Canada announced $66.3 million to support energy efficiency upgrades and affordable housing projects across Canada.

Delivered through the Green Municipal Fund (GMF), this funding will support 21 Community Efficiency Financing projects and 141 Sustainable Affordable Housing projects. Together, these projects will help people save on energy bills, make homes more comfortable, and improve housing quality for families, seniors and individuals in need.
