Some support goes beyond a single donation. It grows into years of helping Ottawa kids enjoy winter the way every child should ❄️

We're so grateful to the Senators Community Foundation for another generous donation, and for standing behind The Snowsuit Fund year after year.

Their longstanding support has helped put warm snowsuits on Ottawa children, giving them the chance to head outside and simply be kids, instead of letting the cold keep them on the bench 🏒

281 Ottawa kids will stay warm this winter, thanks to the Ontario Building Officials Association! ❤️ At its 70th Annual Meeting & Training Sessions, OBOA members raised $14,050 through raffles and fundraising activities in support of The Snowsuit Fund.

The Snowsuit Fund's 45th season is here! ❄️

Today, we officially kicked off the 2026/27 season at our depot, joined by Mayor Mark Sutcliffe, Rideau-Vanier Councillor Stéphanie Plante - Rideau Vanier, our Board of Directors, volunteers and supporters. Thank you to everyone who came out! ❤️

Councillor Plante shared a personal connection: The Snowsuit Fund was there when she needed a snowsuit for her child. Stories like hers are why we do this work.

Last winter, we distributed 21,315 brand-new snowsuits to children and youth 15 and under from 9,182 Ottawa families, the greatest demand in our 45-year history. The need isn't slowing down: we've already distributed more than 5,000 snowsuits since our depot opened on September 8.

We receive no government funding, so every snowsuit is made possible by our donors, volunteers and partners. Help keep Ottawa kids warm this winter via the link in bio 🧣
