From July 7th to July 17th, our course cadets have been battling the brutal early summer heat at CTC Blackdown to complete their intro (plus one advanced) courses in fitness, expedition, mountain biking and marksmanship.

And thats a wrap for 2025/26. 🏹🏕️

Yesterday, we took our annual end of year activity to YMCA Camp Otonabee in Dunrobin for some fun activities such as archery, orienteering, low ropes, swings ropes, etc.

With summer training just around the corner, we wish all our selected cadets good luck with their courses at .blackdown and .valcartier and wish you all an amazing summer. See you in September!

A more than memorable FTX!

Last weekend, we join (Nepean), (Nepean), 2804 (Casselman) and (Orléans) RCACC in our yearly Joint Spring Field Training Exercise.

During the weekend, cadets learnt, taught and supervised the many aspects of an FTX such as fieldcraft (like constructing hoochies), map & compass as well as many knots! 🪢 🧭 🏕️

We hope everyone had fun!

From May 8th to May 9th, our cadets aged 16 and above attended the Ottawa St-Lawrence Area (OSLA) CAF Engagement day up north at CFB Petawawa. During this event, they were introduced to many roles, positions and workspaces in the Canadian Armed Forces. We hope you all had fun!
