National Council of Women of Canada Founded in 1893 NCWC is a non-profit, non-partisan non-governmental organization (NGO).

NCWC's Vision: A vibrant, non-sectarian, pro-active council of women, reflecting the diversity of society, influencing political decision making and public attitudes for the well-being of society through education and advocacy. Privileges of Membership:
* Be part of the NCWC delegation to the UN CSW (United Nations Commission on
the Status of Women) meetings in March in New York. (NCWC has ECO

SOC status.)
• Be instrumental in developing NCWC policies through drafting resolutions and
voting on them at our AGM.
* Hold office as a Convenor or Board Member.
• Receive NCWC Newsletters and other relevant information; include articles
informing others about the work of your organization
* Promote your special events/news items through NCWC social media.

CFUW Guelph is pleased to announce that the CFUW Charitable Trust 2026 Library Award of $4,000 was presented to Immigrant Services Guelph-Wellington on June 9, 2026, in support of its Newcomer Tutoring Program.

The program provides one-to-one tutoring and learning support to newcomers as they develop English language skills, build confidence and strengthen their connections within the community.
CFUW Guelph is proud to support this valuable program and its contribution to welcoming and assisting newcomers in Guelph-Wellington.
