PERMIKA stands for “Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Kanada.” In English, it is the Indonesian Students’ Association. PERMIKA Ottawa is the Ottawa chapter of PERMIKA, and together with chapters from several other cities comprise PERMIKA Nasional. PERMIKA is a student organization under PPI (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia). PERMIKA itself consists of Indonesian university students seeking

knowledge in Canada. The purpose of its formation is as a discussion form, exchanging knowledge, and a place for creativity.

PERMIKA adalah singkatan dari “Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Kanada.” PERMIKA Ottawa merupakan cabang ibu kota Kanada, berserta PERMIKA beberapa kota lainnya yang membentuk PERMIKA Nasional. PERMIKA merupakan organisasi kemahasiswaan dibawah naungan PPI dunia (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia). PERMIKA sendiri beranggotakan mereka mahasiswa Indonesia yang tengah menuntut ilmu di Kanada. Tujuan didirikannya permika adalah sebagai sarana diskusi, bertukar ilmu dan juga sebagai wadah berkreasi.

Big thank you to all the amazing vendors for sharing their delicious food and hard work with us 🙏 Everything was so worth it! There were still a lot more food that I did not get to try.
(P.S. Sorry if I sound like I’m shouting in the video—it was loud there 😅)
