🚸 Welcome back to all Crossing Guards, students, teachers, bus drivers and school faculty!

As students head back to school, our School Crossing Guards are heading back to their posts too! It is important that all driver SLOW DOWN and STAY ALERT!

🛑Remember - When a crossing guard enters the roadway, stop and remain stopped until the guard and all pedestrians have safely cleared the crossing.

Respect all crossing guards! 🛑🚘

Crossing guards are there to keep our kids safe, but they need space to do their jobs. Drivers, respect their signals and give them plenty of room to guide students safely.

Stop for buses! 🛑🚌
Red lights flashing? Stop sign out? That means STOP! As you can see in our post, this driver got it right by coming to a complete stop and giving the school bus plenty of room. Let’s keep our kids safe this school year—when you see red, stop ahead!

Comme vous pouvez le voir dans notre publication, ce conducteur a bien fait les choses en s'arrêtant complètement et en laissant beaucoup d'espace à l'autobus scolaire. Gardons nos enfants en sécurité cette année : quand ça clignote rouge, on s'arrête !

Back to school is here, and our young pedestrians are back on their way to class! School zones demand extra care—easing your speed ensures you have enough time to brake if a young pedestrian steps into traffic.

Ease off the gas, keep your eyes up, and stay alert. Arriving a few minutes later changes nothing—but protecting our children changes everything! 🎒✨

La rentrée est arrivée, et nos jeunes piétons sont de retour sur le chemin de l'école ! Dans une zone scolaire, chaque kilomètre heure compte : réduire votre vitesse vous donne le temps de réagir si un enfant traverse soudainement.

🟡 Quick heads up — our Crossing Guards have a new look this season!

You’re used to seeing our guards in their signature orange, but this school year they’ll be sporting bright yellow instead! 💛

New colour, same friendly faces and same important job keeping students and families safe on their way to and from school.

So when you see yellow at the crosswalk next week, slow down, stay alert and be ready to stop! 🛑
