On behalf of the Ghanaian Association of Ottawa, our executives had the honour of visiting some members of the Ghanaian Muslim community last night. It was a privilege to share a small gesture of love through the donation of assorted fruits and water — a reminder of the true spirit of Ramadan: compassion, generosity, and unity.

We are grateful to stand together in solidarity and community during this sacred season.

A powerful Ghanaian film, “The Eyes of Ghana" directed by **two-time Oscar winner Ben Proudfoot will be screening at the **International Film Festival of Ottawa.

This beautiful documentary captures the moment legendary Ghanaian cameraman **Chris Hesse**, now in his 90s, passes his knowledge and legacy to the young filmmaker **Anita Afonu** — a touching love letter to cinema and storytelling.
