Excited to share that YSS Canada has successfully completed training with the financial support from through Youth Leadership for Change Stream.

This program aims at building a culture of service and volunteering among racialized youth in Ottawa aged 15-30, with activities that strengthen youth resilience, build an inclusive community and promote civic engagement.

With this , we have supported career development, skills enhancement and fostered leadership opportunities, creating a brighter future for the next generation.

We are honored to continue this partnership with Social Planning Council of Ottawa and other partners as we address barriers and challenges faced by youth in accessing education and employment opportunities.

If you are new here, is a youth led and youth serving organization with a mission to create a safe space and empower youth on their journey to reaching their full potential.

As we start 2026, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible year we shared with our community! 🎉

In 2025, we continued to equip youth with the tools to build new skills, grow their confidence, and explore meaningful opportunities. None of this would have been possible without our dedicated supporters, mentors, partners, and participants.

We believe in a future where every young person has the resources and support they need to thrive. This year, we’re excited to continue creating opportunities, championing youth leadership, and building safe, empowering spaces where growth can flourish.

🎉 Celebrating a journey of wisdom and achievements🎉 What a journey and what a day!

Our September-December 2025 TECH Training Program wrapped with an incredible Closing Ceremony full of energy, inspiration, and youth-led success.
Thank you to the city councillor who is always with us, supporting these young talents, we are grateful 🙌

What was new for this cohort? ✍️ Career Hackathon ✍️
In this module experienced professionals took us on the process to find and benefit from our IKIGAI!

IKIGAI?
As youth navigate their careers, we went through how it is important to prioritize what you love, what you are good at, what the World needs and what you can get paid for, this is your IKIGAI!

From learning new tools to presenting real-world projects, this cohort stepped up and showed out! 🚀
