St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School Council St. Francis of Assisi CSC's focus is supporting students and the school

Francis of Assisi Catholic School Council (CSC) is an open, active, engaged, group of parents, guardians, caregivers and community members who come together throughout the school year to discuss and share ideas in support of the school and students. We actively fundraise, coordinate pizza days and organize social events like our Christmas store and year-end barbecue. Our constant focus is to support the students and school, and to find ways in which we can contribute to its ongoing excellence.

🎃 HELP US MAKE THE HALLOWEEN DANCE HAPPEN! 👻

Our annual Halloween Dance is always a fun night for the kids — but we need volunteers to make it happen!

Last year, we had very low volunteer numbers, especially for clean-up. This year, we can only hold the dance if we have enough help with planning, set-up, during the event and clean-up.

There are lots of ways to help, and you don’t need to commit to the whole evening!

Volunteer opportunities:
• Set-Up — Night Before
• Set-Up — Day Of
• At the Dance — 6:00–7:00 PM
• At the Dance — 7:00–8:00 PM
• Clean-Up & Take-Down — 8:00 PM until finished (approximately 1 hour, depending on the number of helpers)

Even one hour of your time makes a difference! Sign up here:

Student volunteers are welcome! Students should use the student volunteer form to sign up: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScIFGPRhgHgw6AuE5cTKeh6ijqKoXi1M-9IhXH6OQg5qAgOIA/viewform

Important!! If you sign up, please make every effort to honour your commitment. Having enough volunteers in each time slot is essential to making the evening run safely and smoothly.

Please note: We reserve the right to cancel the Halloween Dance if we do not have enough volunteers to properly run the event.

❤️ SCHOOL COUNCIL NEEDS NEW FACES! ❤️

As our kids grow up and graduate, many of our longtime parent volunteers move on too. Which means we’re looking for some new parents, especially from the younger grades, to join us!

You don’t have to take on a big role or commit to everything. You choose how you help and how much you contribute. Every little bit makes a difference!

🗓️ Come to a Council meeting
🙌 Or simply lend a hand when you can

Our meetings are the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 PM, and there are lots of ways to get involved without taking on a major commitment.
Come meet us, see what we’re all about, and help keep the fun going for our kids! ❤️
