Will you take a moment to pray for your local MP today?

With Parliament resuming on September 21, the EFC is calling Christians across Canada to spend this week praying for our elected officials.

Day 2: Rest (Sept. 15)
"God, our shepherd, I pray that you would provide rest for my MP, that you would refresh their soul. I pray that you would lead them beside quiet waters and to lie down in green pastures. I pray for peace of mind, heart and soul." (Psalm 23:1-2)

Take a minute today to pray for your MP by name, and consider dropping them an encouraging note to let them know you're praying!

As we begin the 2026 Season of Creation, join For the Love of Creation for an online prayer service inspired by this year's theme, Living Water, and symbol, Immersion in Living Water. The theme draws on Ezekiel's vision of waters that bring healing, renewal, and abundant life for all creation. CIMC Member, Sandra Pronteau, will be sharing a prayer on behalf of the CRC for this event.

Together, we'll pray for ecological justice, deepen our connection to God's creation, and renew our commitment to caring for our common home.
