Wind Concerns Ontario supports responsible, environmentally sound solutions to our energy demands and environmental challenges. The Green Energy Act, however, did not fulfill promises: the reality of this legislation and government policy was to locate expensive industrial wind power plants with no cost-benefit analysis and little environmental oversight. The noise complaints and health effects be

ing reported in Ontario today echo those of people in other countries around the world. Wind power generation projects are an industrial use of the land; the planning and siting process should be the same as for any other sort of industrial infrastructure, with full cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment (including effects on the local population,) and thorough environmental assessment. Wind Concerns Ontario is committed to informing the people of Ontario as to the many concerns surrounding industrial wind power.

The PM on today's announcement: pipelines "advancing potential", natural gas as a short term solution, but hydro, nuclear plus wind and solar with the goal of (impossible) Net Zero. No carbon capture, no pipelines.

. refuses to let go of net zero nostalgia. Every 🇨🇦 energy CEO & industry expert has made it crystal clear - carbon taxes, carbon capture, methane reductions is a thing of the past. No other governments impose this burden on their oil sector. It's an investment

Alberta responds to citizen concerns about industrial wind power complexes with new rules. Municipal regs supercede provincial regs. Ontario? No revision, no review by Environment Ontario despite 1000s of noise complaints, many with reports of health issues. And the wind power lobby is pushing against municipal autonomy. "Good neighbours" make the difference, as in this story of a day in farm life from Farmer Tim. "Good neighbours" think about their community before signing a lease for industrial wind turbines, that WILL affect them, and others, too.

Our acoustics pro friends are going to love this. Wind turbine operator response to a family's complaint about noise and pressure sensations, from internal 2024 govt records. We ask, how can the operator try to pass this off as genuine response ("listener"?), and why did Environment Ontario accept the false notion that infrasound can be heard? Problems continue in as audible noise is the only thing measured: no resolution; no effective regulation; more powerful turbines on the way.
