Solomon Dawit was a kind, funny, personable, and respected businessman of Ethiopian descent who spent much of his adult life in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Upon his passing in late 2009, his family and friends organized to establish a charity organization in his name, the Solomon Dawit Foundation. The Solomon Dawit Foundation was established to carry forward the core principles that Solomon strongly

believed in, that individuals in need are best served when they are self-empowered. This page will be part of the link between us, the founding members of the organization, and those that want to take part in helping form a brighter tomorrow for the children of Ethiopia.
