West Carleton Food Access Centre AGM set for Thursday, May 22, 2025

The West Carleton Food Access Centre will hold its Annual General Meeting at 7pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025 in the Roly Armitage Hall located at the Client Service Centre, 5670 Carp Rd.

As with all AGMs, the WCFAC will review the business of the previous year (2024).

The general public is invited to attend our annual general meeting, however, only registered members can vote on motions presented during the meeting. This is a new requirement, instituted in our By-Laws in 2024, in accordance with the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010.

You can register as a member by applying for membership in person prior to the meeting on May 22.

Thank you to the community of West Carleton for your amazing support throughout the year. We do not have access to funding or food sources outside of West Carleton so every dollar is greatly appreciated.

Did you know that since West Carleton Food Access Centre is a registered charity, your donations are eligible for tax receipts. If you donated by etransfer, and have not received a tax receipt, email us your mailing address and we will forward a tax receipt. Receipts are typically issued in the month donations are received.

West Carleton Food Access Centre would like to Thank all those who have donated to our community Food Bank over the Christmas Holiday time and throughout the year. We have so many generous organizations and people living in our area that truly care about our neighbours.
From all the Schools, Churches, Children's sport teams, Scouts, Parade's and Businesses we couldn't do this without all of you.

MacGowans Tree Farm has been a supporter of the West Carleton Food Access Centre for many years now. They do an amazing job and happy to report they managed to raise $1484. 00 this year.
Their delicious Hot Chocolate and cookies are sure a winner and their Christmas trees are the best by far.
