Meet another panelist.

We are proud to welcome Jérémie Farret, CTO and VP Actionable Intelligence at Inmind Technologies Inc, and CEO and CTO of its subsidiary Mind in a Box, to the panel at From Nonna's Recipes to Food 4.0 on June 17th.

Jérémie is a systems architect with 30 years of experience across some of the most demanding technology sectors in the world: transportation, medical imaging, banking, cybersecurity and agri-food. An early adopter of AI since the late 1990s, long before it became a boardroom buzzword, he has led multiple Scale AI projects and spoken at international stages including World Summit AI, ASPAI and ITSec.

His current work sits at the intersection of sovereign AI, critical infrastructure and applied intelligence. Through Mind in a Box, he develops eco-responsible DataOps and MLOps solutions serving clients across three continents.

What makes Jérémie's perspective particularly valuable for this conversation is that he does not talk about AI in theory. He builds it, deploys it and measures its impact across industries, including agri-food. That is exactly the kind of grounded, practical voice this panel needs.

🎙️ Meet another panelist.

We are delighted to welcome Daniel Duguay, Senior Director of Sustainability at the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA), to the panel at From Nonna's Recipes to Food 4.0 on June 17th.

Dan has spent the last several years leading sustainability efforts across Canada's fresh produce industry, working with everyone from growers to retailers on some of the most pressing challenges in the food supply chain: packaging, food waste, carbon footprint and sustainability reporting. He also chairs the Sustainability Committee of the International Federation for Produce Standards, bringing a genuinely global perspective to what are often very local conversations.

His background spans academia, the private sector and the Canadian government, and he holds degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Ottawa and McGill University.

That blend of technical grounding and industry-wide influence makes him exactly the kind of voice this conversation needs.
And if that were not enough, he is also the creator of Jishudō, a martial arts-inspired practice focused on mental and emotional wellbeing. Not your average engineer. 😄

Sustainability is not a side conversation in the future of food. It is central to it. We are looking forward to hearing Dan's perspective on June 17th.

🎙️ Meet one of our speakers!
We are very excited to introduce Abi Van Riesen as one of our panelists for From Nonna's Recipes to Food 4.0 on June 17th.

Abi is the Regional Innovation Director of Ontario at the Canadian Food Innovation Network and holds a PhD in Chemistry and Toxicology. She has built her career at the intersection of science, startups and strategy, helping food and agritech companies grow from early idea to market reality.

She knows the Canadian foodtech ecosystem from the inside, and she is going to bring some real clarity to the conversation about where it is all heading. We are lucky to have her. 👏

Did you know? 🧬
The Green Revolution of the 1960s, driven by scientist Norman Borlaug, used selective crop breeding and agricultural science to more than double wheat and rice yields across Asia and Latin America. It is estimated to have saved over a billion lives from famine.

Technology did not just improve food production. It rewrote the math on human survival.

Every era has its game-changer. Come find out what today's looks like.

*** Did you know? ***

In the 1960s, a scientist named Norman Borlaug used crop science to more than double wheat and rice yields across Asia and Latin America. A billion lives saved. Not an exaggeration — that is the actual estimate.

Technology and food. The stakes have always been enormous.

Did you know?

In the 1870s, refrigerated rail cars made it possible to ship fresh meat across North America for the first time. Before that, you ate what was raised nearby. That single innovation created the modern meat industry, the global cold chain, and the idea that any food could be available anywhere, any time.

One technology. An entire industry rebuilt. It has happened before, and it is happening again.

Every era has its game-changer. Come find out what today's looks like.
