Excellente nouvelle pour la fabrication canadienne et l’innovation!

Avec le CNIMI et Ericsson, nous avons officiellement lancé le laboratoire vivant de fabrication de pointe. Cela marque une étape importante pour l’Industrie 4.0 au Canada.

Le laboratoire met en vedette la technologie 5G privée d’Ericsson et est conçu pour tester en temps réel des solutions d’IA, de robotique et de fabrication avancée. Il comprend également la vaste gamme d’outils de fabrication du CNIMI, des robots collaboratifs et autonomes, des dispositifs de réalité mixte ainsi que plusieurs technologies de positionnement intérieur.

Ce partenariat réunit des organisations partout au Canada afin de soutenir les entreprises innovantes et de renforcer le secteur des technologies industrielles du pays. Le président d’Ericsson Canada, Nishant Grover, affirme que le laboratoire vivant contribuera à « positionner le Canada à l’avant-garde de l’Industrie 4.0 ».

C’est l’avenir de la fabrication canadienne. 🇨🇦

Great news for Canadian manufacturing and innovation!

Together with CNIMI and Ericsson, we've officially launched the Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab. This marks an important step forward for Industry 4.0 in Canada.

The lab features Ericsson’s Private 5G (EP5G) technology and is designed for real-time testing of AI, robotics, and advanced manufacturing solutions. It also includes CNIMI’s wide range of manufacturing tools, collaborative and autonomous robots, mixed reality devices, and several indoor positioning technologies.

This partnership brings together organizations from across Canada to help innovative companies and strengthen the country’s industrial technology sector. Ericsson Canada President Nishant Grover says the Living Lab will help “put Canada at the forefront of Industry 4.0.”

This is the future of Canadian manufacturing. 🇨🇦

The Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab officially launches!

Powered by CNIMI and Ericsson in Ville de Drummondville, Quebec, the Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab provides Canadian startups and scaleups with access to cutting-edge infrastructure, expert support, and a real-world testing environment to validate innovative solutions and accelerate commercial success.

As part of the pan-Canadian CENGN Living Lab Initiative, the facility joins CENGN’s seven other living labs representing Canada’s key economic sectors and is supported by a $45 million investment from the Federal Government’s Strategic Response Fund through Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada (ISED).

At launch, Averian was among the first Canadian companies to demonstrate its solution within the lab, representing what this initiative was designed to accelerate.

For Canadian technology companies operating in the manufacturing space, this lab is an opportunity to validate solutions in a factory environment.

Le laboratoire vivant de fabrication de pointe est officiellement lancé.

Soutenu par le CNIMI et Ericsson à Ville de Drummondville (QC), le laboratoire vivant de fabrication de pointe offre aux startups et entreprises en croissance canadiennes un accès à des infrastructures de pointe, à l’accompagnement d’experts et à un environnement réel de tests afin de valider des solutions innovantes et d’accélérer leur succès commercial.

Dans le cadre de l’Initiative pancanadienne CENGN Living Labs, cette installation rejoint les sept autres laboratoires vivants de CENGN représentant les principaux secteurs économiques du Canada. Elle est soutenue par un investissement de 45 millions de dollars provenant du Fonds de réponse stratégique du gouvernement fédéral, par l’entremise d’Innovation, Sciences et Développement économique Canada (ISDE).

Lors du lancement, Averian faisait partie des premières entreprises canadiennes à démontrer sa solution au sein du laboratoire, illustrant parfaitement l’objectif de cette initiative : accélérer l’innovation et la commercialisation.

• Grow your project management skills with guidance from experienced leaders

🎯 What we're looking for:
• 1-3 years of project management experience in engineering or a similar field
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in fast-paced, remote settings
• Being bilingual in English and French is an asset
