Wow what a weekend! Youturn Youth Support Services showed up in a big way at this year's Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend as part of the Desjardins Charity Challenge. I am most proud of the youth in our JBAC school program who participated in the 2k along with staff from Youturn and our partners at the Ottawa Catholic School Board and Operation Come Home. A number of Youturn staff ran the 2k, 5k and half-marathon, great work. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy and excitement and the support from hundreds of spectators who came out to cheer made a huge difference. Congratulations RunOttawa, Tamarack, Desjardinsardins for putting on a stellar event.
