Building for the future. 🇨🇦🥋

Following the President’s Cup in Lima, our Canadian Cadet and Junior athletes took part in a NextGen Development Camp, training alongside athletes and coaches from Peru, Ecuador, the USA and Puerto Rico. 🥋

Three days of training, learning and valuable international experience for the next generation of Canadian taekwondo.

A big thank you to the Peru Taekwondo Federation for hosting the camp and bringing everyone together! 🇵🇪🙌

À la suite de la Coupe du Président à Lima, nos athlètes canadiens cadets et juniors ont participé à un camp de développement NextGen, s’entraînant aux côtés d’athlètes et d’entraîneurs du Pérou, de l’Équateur, des États-Unis et de Porto Rico. 🥋

Trois jours d’entraînement, d’apprentissage et d’expérience internationale précieuse pour la prochaine génération du taekwondo canadien.

Un grand merci à la Fédération péruvienne de taekwondo d’avoir accueilli le camp et réuni tout le monde! 🇵🇪🙌

🇨🇦 🥉 BRONZE FOR BREWSTER 🥉 🇨🇦

Ella Brewster earned bronze in the Women’s -57kg division at the Rome 2026 World Taekwondo Grand Prix after victories over Türkiye (2-0) and USA (2-0).

A strong performance against world-class competition and an important result on the Grand Prix circuit.
