Future Paths Network is a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting Black youth in their transition out of the foster care system. Focusing on an underserved niche, our mission is to facilitate the growth of strong, resilient, and engaged individuals who are seamlessly integrated into their communities. By providing mentorship services and fostering community engagement, we empower these you

ng individuals to build meaningful relationships, thus promoting their psychosocial development and overall well-being. In a landscape where resources for black youth leaving the foster care system are limited, We recognize that Black youth in care face distinct challenges, and we are committed to filling the gap by providing them with a safe space to nurture connections and create a community that aligns with their aspirations.

We’re now accepting nominations for the FIRST Annual Future Paths Network, Community Impact Award! Presented in partnership with , this award recognizes Black youth making a difference in the Ottawa-Gatineau community.

Do you know a young changemaker creating impact in your neighborhood, school, or community? Nominate them today for a chance to win a $250 cash prize and community recognition, at the 2nd Annual Recognition Night🔥

Nomination Requirements:
• Black youth aged 14–24
• Must live in Ottawa-Gatineau

From the first idea to the final round of applause, this night was built by a community that knows the power of unity, culture, and excellence. We showed up, showed out, and celebrated our legacy with style, grace, and a whole lot of love 💕
