Alta Vista Community Association The AVCA is located in Ward 18 in the south of the City of Ottawa, bounded by Heron Rd. to the south, Smyth Rd.

The purpose of our community association is to positively and actively influence the development of the Alta Vista community for the well-being of its residents, property owners, business owners and visitors. to the north, the Rideau River to the west and Haig Drive to the east.

The Countdown to Canada Day is on!
9 days to go.

We are still happily accepting donations and asking for sponsorships. We send a huge thank you to Canterbury Community Association for their amazing contribution this weekend. We are pleased to announce we have partnered with them to bring you this years Light Up the Sky Canada Day Event.

Donations are still needed but this event is no longer at risk as we're getting much closer to our fundraising goals through various sponsorships and donations. We will not be cancelling this event. Only a force of nature will change our minds. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you.
