Proud of all the Mustangs volunteers who have showed up for the Canadian Collegiate Women's Flag Football Challenger event this weekend. If you are in the Ottawa area and want to see some of the best upcoming female talent in the sport, in person, come by Stade Mont-Bleu at 395 Bd de la Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau, this afternoon or all day tomorrow. Tickets are $10 for the weekend available on-site.

South Ottawa Mustangs 1st place teams in their divisions at the inaugural Pumpkin Bowl.

Yesterday, South Ottawa Mustangs hosted the inaugural Pumpkin Bowl, bringing together 20 teams and over 200 players and their families from across eastern Ontario and western Quebec for an amazing day of flag football. Thanks to all the players, coaches, officials, volunteers, clubs supporters for helping make it a great day for everyone.

Our kids played with a lot of heart and integrity and were amazing representatives of their community.

We are extremely proud of all them. Here's how they finished in the overall rankings:

Division 1: (7 teams)
SOM U16 Boys A - First Place
SOM U16 Boys B - 7th Place

Division 2: (10 teams)
SOM U18 Girls - 5th Place
SOM U16 Girls - 6th Place

Division 3: (3 teams)
SOM U14 Girls - 1st Place

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, the South Ottawa Mustangs are hosting the Inaugural Pumpkin Bowl, a competitive flag football tournament bringing together over 20 teams from across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.

To make it happen we need your help. This is a call for volunteers! If you or your children are interested in helping out (particularly high school aged kids looking for their hours), please reach out to [email protected].

NCAFA Fall Flag Football
New this year is a new fall program (September October) run out of the RA centre. Boys and girls of all ages (6-19) are welcome. Programs for 6-9 year olds is coed. Older groups are seperate. The younger the player the greater the focus will be on skill development with some game play. At the older the age groups there will be a greater focus on games. All players but especially new players will be supported with extra skill development. This is a brand new program so we want to lead off with a survey. Cost of the program is around $150. This survey will ask a number of questions to help us deliver the best program (timing of sessions, dob, M/F, experience etc.. Go here to show interest and take the survey:
