As a corps tradition, cadets aging out are given the opportunity to promenade across the parade square one last time in front of their peers as they take the last steps of their cadet careers, and the first steps towards their new endeavours. This marked the last ACR for:

• Master Warrant Officer Sylke Robertson

The Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) marked the final training night for Chief Warrant Officer Asianzu as Regimental Sergeant Major.

To formally pass on the RSM appointment, we held a Change of Pace Stick ceremony where CWO Asianzu officially handed over her pace stick to CWO Ogunmekan. Earlier in the day, during ACR practice, both cadets also completed the official signing of the certificates to finalize the appointment.

A HUGE congratulations to our new cadet leaders! It is going to be an exciting training year in September under this new leadership.

Last Saturday, we held our 78th Annual Ceremonial Review!
We were fortunate to have Lieutenant Colonel Shelly Worsley, Commanding Officer of 33 Service Battalion - 33e Bataillon des services , as our Reviewing Officer. As the CO of one of our affiliated units, it was an absolute honour to have her serve as our RO.

We were also delighted to welcome our local Member of Parliament, the Honourable David McGuinty, who continues his tradition of regularly attending our ACRs.

Earlier this year, our Commanding Officer, Capt Maloney, received his Canadian Forces' Decoration from the OC of OSLA, LCdr Evans. Congratulations!

The Canadian Forces' Decoration is awarded to officers and Non-Commissioned Members of the Canadian Forces (CF) who have completed twelve years of service. The decoration is awarded to all ranks who have a good record of conduct.
