We are elated to share that Albert Dumont “South Wind” will be speaking at our event, Dalhousie Day.

Albert Dumont is a Poet, Storyteller, Speaker, and an Algonquin Traditional Teacher. He is Ottawa’s former English poet laureate and a revered Elder who has dedicated his life to the collective healing of Indigenous people.

🧡The DCA is committed to upholding and uplifting Indigenous and Algonquin voices and values as we do our work. We are immensely grateful and hope you will join us to hear him.

Albert is scheduled to speak at 11:30am on Dalhousie Day, which is on Saturday October 3 at Plouffe Park. For the full schedule and more information on Dalhousie Day, visit our website ottawadalhousie.ca (link in bio)
